PART ONE: THE INNER YOU
In Part One of the interpretations you will read two sections concerned with your individual traits.

The first section describes your ego (sun), emotional make-up (moon), learning and intellectual orientation (Mercury), relationships and sociability (Venus), and the expression and focus of your physical energy (Mars).

The second section describes how well you deal internally with the external situations that you experience in life. Your capacity for happiness (Jupiter), ability to tolerate restrictions and frustrations (Saturn), how you are associated with or relate to new or innovative ideas and methods, and radical ideas and events that upset the status quo (Uranus), how you are associated with or affected by public ideals, morality, and spirituality (Neptune), and how you are associated with or affected by public policies toward crime, toward the power of government and industry, and toward exploration, development, conservation and distribution of natural resources (Pluto).

SUN
The sun rules will power and ego. It is the core of your potential and uniqueness as an individual; who you are and what you are about. It represents the main direction and focus you want your life to take, and your determination to accomplish what you set out to do. It is your personal honesty and integrity, and the ability to command respect and authority, to impress and influence others.

SUN in AQUARIUS
As the eleventh sign of the zodiac, Aquarius represents the eleventh stage in the evolution of man and his place in the universe. In Aquarius, the individuality of man so carefully nurtured in Leo, now becomes part of the greater spectrum of society as a whole. Capricorn sets up the structure and rules of society, and Aquarius takes on the role of making the organizations of society function as the people-oriented institutions they were intended to be. Aquarians are the original "organization men" of the zodiac. Their societal orientation, loyalty, fairness, and objective nature are reasons why they tend to attract many friends and acquaintances in life. Though they are not above wanting to live well, many Aquarians are more interested in people than they are in amassing great wealth or taking on the responsibilities that invariably accompany such a life style. When they cannot afford some luxury, they rationalize why they didn't need it in the first place.

Aquarians are stubborn and resist changing their opinions or accepting new ideas that they do not like or with which they do not agree. Big changes in life are accepted as a challenge, but small changes that throw off their plans are not tolerated very well. The astrological symbol for Aquarius is the figure of a man pouring water. The water is seen as mankind's collective consciousness. It depicts Aquarians as disseminators of the spirit of humanity. Many Aquarians, in tune with their celestial heritage, are idealists who champion the highest principles to which humanity can aspire. However they are also extremely independent thinkers. When confronted with authoritarian demands or dogmatic principles to which they do not subscribe, they rebel. They may hesitate to take the initiative at times, but once they decide a situation or idea is worthwhile, they become involved and aggressive in pushing it forward. They don't mind being asked to do something but they resent being told to do it. Those who want to gain their favor will help share the work load without being asked.

Aquarians react to everything they experience in life with an intellectual orientation. Before they take physical action, before they assess the practical worth of something, and before they sort out their true emotions, they try to visualize it objectively as a kind of mental exercise. In relationships, their intellectual approach makes them appear interested but not particularly passionate or possessive. It does not necessarily mean they really lack passion. When they do focus their feelings, their passion can be as intense as it is inspirational.

The modern ruler of Aquarius is Uranus, planet of the unorthodox and eclectic mentality of mankind. The ancient ruler of Aquarius is Saturn, planet of restriction and structure. Such different characteristics seem to directly contradict one another, but a close look at the Aquarian personality shows that both planets co-exist in a strangely compatible way. Aquarians demonstrate association with Uranus by being unpredictable. Saturn's influence gives them stability. The two influences generally mean that when Aquarians suddenly change course, or do something unpredictable, they are not likely to be acting on a whim or a bet but for some very practical or advantageous reason. They favor the unique as well as the traditional. Sometimes they are either so involved with the past (history and antiques) or so tuned in to the future (spaceships and neon clothes) they lose track of the present. Exhibiting the stability of Saturn, they may live unvaried, even boring lives; feeling very comfortable and secure in such an unchanging, stable environment. Sooner or later however, they are apt to encounter circumstances that make it hard for them to know what they will be doing next. They often adopt life styles and ideas that are counter to current trends. The odd and unique fascinate them, and they are rarely caught off guard by abnormal situations and strange people.

Aquarians are good eaters but may not care what's on the menu. Most of them are indifferent cooks. As long as they can participate with a partner, or as part of a team they are enthusiastic about sports and, as a result, may not have trouble keeping physically fit. When left on their own however, they become lazy and reluctant to engage in what to them is a lonely series of exercises with which they quickly become bored. Broad jumping, camping, ballooning, tennis, swimming, racquetball, and baseball are some of their favorite activities. Science and engineering, international finance, writing, music, psychology or social work are areas of special interest to Aquarians.

Aquarian colors are silver, aqua, and purple and the more electric shades of pink and blue. Vulnerable parts of the body are the shins, ankles, and circulatory system. Cramps, allergies, sudden illness and freak accidents are common Aquarian complaints, though they may also suffer from various nervous disorders. The birthstone for Aquarius is amethyst. This gem is believed to confer stability and mental poise on those who wear it. Flowers for Aquarians are the more unusual blossoms and include the gladioli, tiger lily, trillium, bird of paradise, and jack-in-the-pulpit.

MOON
The moon rules desire as opposed to ego, need as opposed to expediency or reason. It describes how you feel about yourself, how you handle relationships, and how you emotionally respond to situations and experiences. It describes the flow of your daily functions; physical, emotional, and mental. The moon represents your residence and domestic environment. It rules babies and young children, your mother and other important females in your life.

MOON in CANCER
Those born with the moon in a Water sign need to establish solid emotional commitments. Before considering the practicality of a situation, and before objectively examining the facts, they react emotionally. They are highly intuitive, though at times it is deceptively self-serving. As lunar Water sign personalities, those with moon in Cancer may have a certain awkwardness in their bearing and approach. Creative and sensitive, they are apt to have artistic talent or at least great appreciation for the arts. They are vulnerable to the influence of those with whom they spend the most time, making it hard to distinguish whether they are expressing their own opinions or merely reflecting those of someone else. They can be extremely passive when it comes to extricating themselves from unhappy emotional situations. They may even cling to such situations after they have managed to find happiness elsewhere. They hate to throw anything away. Lack of motivation can make them lazy, disorganized and sloppy.

Cancerian moon personalities are dedicated to getting their own way and accomplishing personal goals. They can be quite shy when initially confronted with unfamiliar situations and when meeting total strangers. Once they feel comfortable, they become more outgoing and even aggressive. Their nurturing nature makes them hospitable, compassionate, and philanthropic. Strong identification with the concept of family makes them treat everyone as part of the family. They often use this kind of approach as a successful ploy in getting others to cooperate. As babies they tend to be finicky eaters or develop food allergies. As adults they have an unfortunate tendency to use food as an emotional pacifier.

Vulnerable, possessive, emotionally dependent, and demanding the women with moon Cancer are at the mercy of their conflicting feelings. Emotionally they are their own worst enemy. They are highly intuitive and creative once they learn to control their emotional tidal waves. Men with Cancer moon have a streak of domesticity, the potential of which includes gardening, cooking, or concern with household furnishings. It is often hard for them to act with sustained aggressiveness in emotional situations.

MERCURY
Mercury indicates mental outlook, intellectual endeavors, the way you think and communicate. It represents ideas, methods, and information. It rules your hands and thus your manual dexterity and mechanical skills. Mercury also describes transportation; that is, how you get where you're going physically and mentally. Do you speed with all possible haste or amble along taking a few detours here and there?

MERCURY in AQUARIUS
Those with natal Mercury in Aquarius have a curious, but usually compatible, mixture of characteristics associated with their thoughts and ideas and the expression of those ideas. These individuals are stimulated by unusual or unorthodox methods and ideas, which they are often successful at fitting into traditional systems. They have respect for tradition, but are also able to express traditional ideas in an avant-garde or unorthodox manner. They can be very stubborn and opinionated, while at the same time maintain liberal, unbiased attitudes. They are inclined toward design, architecture, science, finance, and, in some cases, music or literature. In the matter of learning and transportation, they can be unpredictable and, at times, highly original and unique. Whatever they do, they always seem to wittingly or unwittingly attract a crowd.

VENUS
Venus rules your social attitudes and behavior, and your aesthetic tastes and inclinations. It is female relationships and social interactions at every level. Venus indicates your values. It describes romance, marriage and other partnerships, capacity for humor, and the pursuit of pleasure.

VENUS in CAPRICORN
These individuals are apt to exhibit the restrictive influence of Capricorn in dealing with romantic entanglements. Nor can their social attitudes and behavior be described as very glib or spontaneous. Though it may not be their intention to do so, they may appear brusque or abrupt when dealing with those they do not know well. In spite of this, most of them enjoy social gatherings. A cautious nature makes them feel more comfortable in relationships and social situations that are formal, purposeful, and to some extent, calculated. This type of approach helps remove the possibility of personal rejection which is something they wish to avoid at all costs. No matter how easy-going or strong their outer personality may appear, it is likely that underneath they may feel insecure. Consciously or subconsciously they want to make some practical use of their associations.

MARS
Mars rules physical energy and efforts. It describes the strength and direction of the physical force that drives your ego, fires your emotions, and encourages your mental endeavors and communicative skills. It describes male relationships and associations, risk-taking inclinations, and the physical challenges you are likely to encounter.

MARS in SAGITTARIUS
The actions of individuals with natal Mars in Sagittarius are enthusiastic and inspired. Spurred on by the excitement of a given moment, they act quickly and decisively. However, they can quickly lose interest and head off in a different direction, leaving others to finish their work. Their intellectual curiosity is easily aroused, and they enjoy absorbing, collecting, and sharing all types of information. They need to develop patience and organization or the facts that they accumulate become disconnected and they end up repeating themselves. They are apt to have mechanical or artistic skills and the ability to mimic. They are gifted actors, sales persons, clerics, writers, teachers and musicians. They accomplish more if given a certain amount of latitude and independence in which to perform their tasks.

JUPITER
Jupiter rules your potential for growth and expansion on many levels; physical, intellectual, spiritual, cultural, and the accumulation of material assets, power, and status. It describes your optimism and aspirations. It represents your father and his position in society.

JUPITER in VIRGO
Individuals with natal Jupiter in Virgo seek tangible proof of their growth and progress, or at least proof that what they are striving for makes some practical sense. They are very often just as involved with the progress and growth of others as they are with their own, which makes them excellent teachers, counselors or clerics. The idealism associated with both Jupiter and Virgo can be a severe limitation for these individuals when nothing and no one seems good enough or perfect enough to satisfy them. On the other hand, it is their demands for perfection that inspire others to rise above mediocrity.

SATURN
Saturn rules responsibilities, restrictions and limitations you are apt to encounter, and the lessons you must learn in life. It does not deny or diminish imagination, inspiration, spirituality, and good fortune but it does demand that these things be given structure and meaning.

SATURN in ARIES
Individuals with natal Saturn in Aries are invariably faced with the consequences of their actions. They do not usually have the luxury of leaving their actions and reactions up to pure instinct. They are frustrated when they do not succeed because they acted spontaneously. Frustration increases on other occasions when they deliberately move at a slower pace and still fail, realizing too late that they should have acted sooner. Success becomes a matter of learning to control their physical, mental, and emotional reactions, an ability that can only be developed through maturity and experience.

URANUS
Uranus rules personal as well as societal freedom. It indicates originality of thought and expression. In society it rules radical ideas and people as well as revolutionary events that upset established structures. Uranus takes approximately seven years to transit one sign, taking about 84 years to complete all twelve signs. Since groups of people with Uranus in the same sign are separated by 84 years, the influence of this planet in a sign is generational. The personal implications of Uranus in your life are described by its house position and the aspects it makes with other planets in your natal chart. It describes areas of unpredictability, and where you or your life style may be different than those around you. It relates to the unusual or unique. Friends and associations to which you belong are also indicated, as is your potential involvement with science and technology, computers, and the media.

URANUS in CAPRICORN
The generation of individuals born with natal Uranus in Capricorn confront revolutionary changes in traditional institutions and political ideologies, as well as major changes in business and industry. Other factors will determine how far-reaching these changes will be, but these individuals seek to reorganize in order to improve efficiency. They get rid of what is wasteful or mismanaged.

NEPTUNE
Neptune rules those who are oppressed or abandoned; the misfits of society. On a higher level it rules visionaries, and those who are glamorous and charismatic. It represents spirituality, mysticism, and ideals. Neptune is in one sign for approximately thirteen years, taking about 164 years to complete its cycle through all twelve signs. Since 164 years separate people born during its transit of one sign and those born when it returns, Neptune's significance in any sign is described as generational or historical. On a personal level, Neptune's house position and the aspects it makes with other planets in your natal chart will describe spirituality, abstract thinking, illusion, disillusionment, and other areas of your life where things aren't always what they seem. It rules derangement, guilt, persecution, and describes the potential for experiences related to confinement, abandonment, and addiction or physical intolerance to drugs.

NEPTUNE in CANCER
The most recent period of Neptune in Cancer was 1901-1916 and there are many Cancerian associations with this period. For example, Cancer rules the stomach and food in general. In 1901 a deranged anarchist shot President McKinley in the stomach. In 1909 the portly 300-pound William Taft was inaugurated. During this period the United States Congress passed the Meat Inspection Act and the Pure Food and Drug Act.

PLUTO
Pluto takes approximately 248 years to make one cycle through all twelve signs. The period Pluto spends in each sign can vary from twelve years to thirty two years due to the eccentricity of its orbit. Like atomic energy (a force ruled by Pluto), the presence and direction of Pluto's energy are never obvious until it is used. Pluto's influence in any sign is interpreted as generational or historical. In your personal life, Pluto's significance is interpreted from its house position and the aspects it makes to other natal planets in your horoscope. Pluto rules intense energy, and describes the areas in which you consciously or subconsciously seek to exercise power or control. Pluto is also linked to your karmic responsibility, and in this respect, it describes the areas where you must gain the deepest level of understanding.

PLUTO in GEMINI
Pluto's last period in Gemini was 1882-1912. Gemini rules communication and transportation. During Pluto's transit there were fantastic achievements in these areas. The first subway was built in London, the first automatic telephone switchboard was introduced, Marconi invented radio telegraphy, and Zeppelin built his airship.

PART TWO: THE OUTER YOU
In Part Two you will read about the twelve houses of the horoscope. The houses represent areas of life in which you operate on a daily basis. You will read descriptions of how you handle the circumstances you encounter in each of these areas, according to your nature, personality and other traits as they are outlined in Part One.

HOUSE 1
The first house and the sign that rules the first house, which is also known as the Ascendant or Rising sign, describes your outer personality and physical attributes. To some extent it also describes your health and the type of illnesses you may experience.

LEO ASCENDANT
A Leo Ascendant indicates individuals who are likely to have strong physiques and lots of physical stamina. They are very stubborn and find it extremely difficult to break undesirable habits and behavior patterns. However, their tenacity and stamina can also be wonderful assets. When they get involved in something, they hang on long after everyone else runs out of steam, and they inspire others with their devotion to ideals and principles.

Leo indicates energy and enthusiasm. Once motivated, they seldom hesitate to act. In spite of their energy and enthusiasm however, they can also be inclined to physical laziness. Their natural enthusiasm is responsible for overabundance and a tendency to overestimate everything. When buying various personal items, for example, they often acquire far more than they need. Though often rash and hasty, their passions are sincere.

Leo is ruled by the sun, ruler of willpower and egotistical drives. It indicates the conscious or subconscious need to dominate, especially in those with more aggressive personalities. They want to have the last word in everything, and may come to believe their opinion is the only one worth considering. The negative potential for Leo Ascendant individuals is evidenced in those whose ego-driven personalities turn them into manipulative, power-oriented demagogues. Though most Leo Ascendant individuals are apt to be outgoing, they are not necessarily aggressive or loudly gregarious. Their personalities will be greatly influenced by the nature and strength of their willpower and ego involvement. If the willpower and ego are not strong, then neither is the personality apt to be assertive. No matter what the rest of the world may think of them, it is meaningless compared to what they think of themselves. Intense self-absorption makes it hard to accept guidance from others, and they may feel taking or asking for advice from others is a sign of weakness. They enjoy associating with others who make them appear at their best. They have great generosity, and their warm, friendly approach wins many friends, as well as inspires the envy of others with less popular personalities. Life will rarely be a routine existence.

They are apt to be very creative with special talent or ability in art, music, or the entertainment and communication industries. Overwork, anxiety, heart problems, lower back pains, and ailments connected with overindulgence are their most likely physical complaints.

HOUSE 2
The second house describes material assets, how you handle monetary income, and the potential ways it may be earned. It also indicates the values and priorities you establish throughout life.

VIRGO on 2nd HOUSE
Virgo ruling the second house indicates those who want to receive material, or at least some sort of tangible benefits from their ideas and thoughts. They want to be assured their ideas and thoughts have real value and many of them are apt to earn income from such fields as education, communication, writing, publishing, or through travel and transportation. Virgo's influence is also an indication they want to make the best use of income and other assets. They may also have tendencies to be critical in some way of their income. Under Virgo's influence many of these individuals keep track of every penny. The negative potential can mean the opposite, and the willingness or ability of these individuals to efficiently handle income is negligible. Virgo's influence suggests those who are adept at picking up on the priorities and value systems of other people. Knowing what others find important makes many of them opportunists, though it doesn't necessarily mean they will manipulate or exploit others.

JUPITER in 2nd HOUSE
Jupiter in the second house indicates those who like to succeed on their own. Whether or not they actually succeed is not indicated solely by Jupiter's position in the second house. These individuals value independence, especially in monetary matters, and, if not discouraged by negative factors in their personality or background, they thrive on the challenge of making their own money. Negative factors can include those who marry for money, and individuals who either acquire money and property through dishonest means, or become victims of those who do. The influence of Jupiter in the second house suggests opportunity to travel or trade in foreign goods and services as a means of livelihood. Other possible sources of income include consulting, publishing, theater, sports, education, or religion. Jupiter in the second house does not always indicate wealth or luck in monetary matters, but it invariably means generosity and the potential for spending money lavishly and wasting other material and non-material resources. They value knowledge even though they may not be scholars. Jupiter also implies they may receive financial help in attaining education and/or may be the ones to aid others in this respect.

JUPITER trine URANUS
Jupiter trine Uranus implies a generation that is fortunately affected in the sense that societal conditions afford them technology to make life easier. There may be a new order of thinking that destroys societal prejudice and various other institutional structures that might in the past have hindered their progress as member of a generation and consequently as individuals.

JUPITER sextile NEPTUNE
Jupiter sextile Neptune is a generational aspect that provides society with the motivation and opportunities to expand spiritual growth, increase understanding of spiritualism or the occult, or to improve conditions in mental hospitals, prisons, or among minority groups. Depending on the personalities and backgrounds of individuals born with this aspect, they will be more or less involved with the areas described above, either in their professions or other activities.

HOUSE 3
The third house describes your mental state, intellectual orientation, self-expression and communication, early education, mechanical dexterity and skills, immediate environment (neighborhood), and siblings. It indicates physical actions, and transportation, especially within your immediate environment. To a certain extent the third house also describes the job or health of your father.

VIRGO on 3rd HOUSE
Virgo ruling the third house indicates those concerned with communication and transportation. They are apt to be writers, teachers, publishers, salespersons, and involved in community projects, transportation or travel. Other mental occupations such as design and engineering are also indicated by Virgo's influence. There is apt to be a lot of visiting and communication with neighbors and siblings. These individuals seem to always know what's going on in their immediate environment. If they have nothing better to occupy their time however, they can be guilty of becoming more involved in idle gossip than in genuine community business. They are apt to have well developed critical and analytical facilities and a high degree of instinctual understanding. Not ESP exactly but what may seem like ESP. The negative potential of Virgo's influence can mean speech impediments, hearing loss, or learning disabilities. It also includes accident proneness, tendency to experience mechanical difficulties, or lack of mechanical ability. The positive side of Virgo's influence indicates talent for arts and crafts, medicine, food preparation, and a lot of common sense.

HOUSE 4
The fourth house describes your residence, domestic environment, and family members, especially your mother. It indicates the beginning as well as the end of various cycles in your life.

SCORPIO on 4th HOUSE
Scorpio ruling the fourth house indicates those who are apt to experience some profound trauma in childhood, usually the death of someone in the family or some form of physical or mental abuse by a family member that deeply affects how they view their own lives as adults. Whatever may have actually happened or how they reacted at the time, the situation ultimately gave them a sense they had no control over things. For this reason, they have difficulty as adults in relinquishing any control over their lives. This makes many of them reluctant to marry, or at least makes it hard to stay married to spouses who insist on having a definite input concerning domestic and family arrangements. The potential of Scorpio's influence on the fourth house also implies they will not experience the full realization of latent energies until later in life. There will be definite periods (especially after the age of thirty) that require complete new beginnings, though other factors will influence the potential outcome of endeavors to start over. They may or may not attempt to escape their childhood home or events, but somehow manage to keep returning to them again and again.

HOUSE 5
The fifth house describes your creative talent and imaginative powers, capacity for enjoyment and the pursuit of pleasure, romance, children, and speculative ventures.

SAGITTARIUS on 5th HOUSE
Sagittarius ruling the fifth house indicates those with a strong sense of their own creative spirits. It is more than abundant expressions of artistic talent or vivid imagination since they may be lacking in these traits. Nor is this necessarily an indication of the procreation of many children since they may fail to produce offspring. Sagittarius influencing the fifth house does indicate those who want to feel that they are somehow set apart from the world while yet still a part of it, to associate themselves with higher spiritual or intellectual levels. However, there is also the potential that they possess generous, risk-taking spirits, merry temperaments, and are certainly not above the sincere enjoyment of delights they are offered in the physical world. The negative potential includes the possibility of disappointment or failure in romantic and speculative ventures. They can attribute the responsibility for some of these failures to their own immaturity and self-indulgence. Though they may or may not have children of their own, their attitude toward youngsters is warm and giving. They are also apt to be animal lovers.

MARS in 5th HOUSE
Mars in the fifth house indicates individuals who concentrate much energy and vitality on creative projects, children, romance, and/or various physical pleasures. This Mars position indicates love of children, and further, implies a high potential for procreation. Long on passion, they may tend to be impatient with the subtle intricacies of romance. Those whose life style does not include bearing children or engaging in romantic adventures themselves may deal with these subjects on a professional or impersonal level, or they may sublimate their energy into other creative and satisfying activities. The energy of fifth house Mars suggests vivid imagination and strong idealistic or spiritualist tendencies. These individuals are also likely to be sports enthusiasts as well as participants. Physical pleasures are pursued with enthusiasm, and their sense of humor may extend to playing practical jokes. This position of Mars relies heavily on the maturity of those who inherit it. If there are negative factors in their personality or background, they may become grossly self-indulgent, egotistical, or waste their skills and talent.

MARS square JUPITER
Those with Mars square Jupiter can often be their own worst enemies through carelessness, laziness, and bad timing. They act imprudently when they should keep low profiles, and when their knowledge or actions count, they may fail to act out of laziness or disinterest. There are tendencies for procrastination and misrepresentation. However there is also energy to overcome the difficulties indicated and succeed because of them rather than in spite of them.

MARS opposite PLUTO
Mars opposite Pluto indicates those who are often confronted with renewal or renovation in some form. Either literally or figuratively, they have to develop inner resourcefulness and whatever intellectual or physical skills they possess in order to meet the challenges in life. A constant frustration may be in having to always deal with what is irrelevant in order to be allowed to deal with what is relevant. Those who learn the futility of trying to directly confront those with more power are the ones who successfully attain their goals.

HOUSE 6
The sixth house describes your job, daily responsibilities (paid and unpaid), and those who work for or with you. It also represents your health, and physical fitness.

CAPRICORN on 6th HOUSE
Capricorn ruling the sixth house indicates potential for heavy responsibilities connected with work and/or health. These individuals may be called upon to make total, unflinching commitments. Those whose individual nature is repelled by the idea of accepting work and tiresome responsibilities will suffer from their unwillingness. It is only by putting forth their very best and consistent efforts that progress is made, not only in their work, but also in terms of their health, personal growth and maturity as individuals. Whatever their job happens to be, it is better if it consists of a definite structure, that is, it includes definite prescribed methods and organization for accomplishing assigned tasks. Their co-workers may be few or they may even work alone. Capricorn's influence also implies job responsibilities will entail supervision of co-workers or at least the need to assist them. Illnesses may be few, but are likely to be lingering or of a chronic nature. There may be little opportunity or desire for pets, but if they do have pets, they are responsible, loving owners.

URANUS in 6th HOUSE
Uranus in the sixth house indicates those who seek a job that allows maximum personal freedom. The ideal situation is to work for themselves. If that isn't possible, the next best thing is to be able to select their own schedule, set their own deadline, and work at their own pace. It is difficult for them to sit still for long periods of time or be saddled with repetitive, uninteresting tasks. If the challenge of the job fades, they may either quit and go on to something else, or find ways to make their work more exciting. These individuals are apt to experience many changes of employment. Their job may unexpectedly or abruptly be terminated, but they are just as likely to leave on their own out of boredom and restlessness. They may be attracted to unusual lines of work. More traditional areas in which they are likely to be employed include medicine, computers, sales, social work, international finance, fund raising, electronics, or teaching. Though these individuals may be very healthy most of the time, the influence of Uranus implies that illness tends to occur suddenly or unexpectedly, and at highly inconvenient times. These individuals may adopt unorthodox or unusual methods to maintain their health and physical fitness.

URANUS opposite NEPTUNE
Uranus opposite Neptune is a generational aspect that only applies to those born between 1905-1910. This generation was born into a society where control was impossible to achieve, at least for very long. Just one example was the failure of prohibition. As individuals their lives were affected to one degree or another by unpopular attempts to control society, but other factors in their personalities and backgrounds must supply more detailed personal descriptions.

VENUS in 6th HOUSE
Venus in the sixth house indicates those who prefer jobs that involve working either with a partner, a number of co-workers, or the public in general. They are apt to be very sociable in a working environment and adept at settling disagreements. Ability to carry out their tasks is influenced by the status of their working relationships. They find it difficult to work efficiently in an atmosphere of continuous disharmony and confrontation. They want to get out of their work an equal measure of what they put into it, and become discouraged by insufficient wages, lack of promotion and recognition, or too many assignments that have nothing to do with their skills or the reasons for which they were hired. There is potential for marriage with a co-worker or with someone they meet through their job. Potential work areas that attract them are related to health, beauty, fashions, books, law, counseling (especially marriage counseling), art, design, jewelry, flowers, and public relations.

VENUS conjunct URANUS
Venus conjunct Uranus indicates those who are very social and have no trouble making a wide variety of friends and acquaintances. They love to be involved in all types of organizations in which, more often than not, they hold positions of leadership. As a result of their social orientation, they are excellent organizers and successful fund raisers. Artistic talent in these individuals is likely to be unusual to some degree.

HOUSE 7
The seventh house relates to marriage and partnership or joint ventures of any kind. It describes how you interact with people and how others tend to regard you. The seventh house is associated with legal matters, negotiations, contracts, and all open confrontations, pleasant as well as adversarial.

AQUARIUS on 7th HOUSE
Many who have Aquarius ruling the seventh house and still manage to accomplish a long and stable marriage can count themselves fortunate since the influence of Aquarius here rarely allows such an arrangement. There is strong potential for more than one marriage or, no marriage at all due to the need for personal freedom. Marriage may be abruptly terminated with no warning, or it can occur suddenly and unexpectedly. Another implication is that there is something unusual or unorthodox about their marriages or marriage partners, or at least what may be thought of as unusual in their particular group or society. There is apt to be something about these individuals that makes them appear unusual or different to others, and they can expect to encounter some pretty strange people whenever they are out in public. They are apt to have the talent for making strangers feel so comfortable they feel they have known these individuals forever. The income of their marriage partners may be derived in areas that deal with those who are ill, handicapped or minorities. Other sources of their income may involve art, dancing, religion, charitable institutions, or areas that involve water, chemistry, photography, or maritime industries.

SUN in 7th HOUSE
Sun in the seventh house suggests people-oriented individuals. This angular sun position indicates those whose ego is tied to partnerships, cooperative efforts, and how they relate to other people in general. Even those who are very independent are likely to find that their best achievements are made possible by or with a partner or partners. To suggest that these individuals are unable to succeed by working alone would be a fallacy and an excuse for idleness. The seventh house sun merely implies that they are likely to achieve success through opportunities others provide, but not because others have done their work for them. Their strong feeling that fairness and equality should exist at all levels of society is sometimes at odds with their actions or life style.

SUN sextile MARS
Sun sextile Mars indicates those likely to be quick to take advantage of opportunities that come their way, and not so narrow as to limit themselves to taking only those that seem to promise some obvious advantage. Their energetic response is to eagerly grab all opportunities that arouse them emotionally, mentally, or physically.

MERCURY in 7th HOUSE
Ideas and intellectual stimulation derived through communication and interaction with others is vital to those with Mercury in the seventh house. It also indicates more than one marriage partner, and in some societies it may happen at the same time. They may have more than one business partner, or several partnerships concerning different enterprises. Partnership may be formed with siblings or with aunts and uncles on the mother's side of the family. There is much communication with partners, and the partners themselves are apt to very talkative, intellectually curious and mechanically skilled. Mercury also implies excellent memory for names, faces, and facts about others.

MERCURY trine PLUTO
The usual implication of Mercury trine Pluto is a sharp focus on intellectual and communicative abilities. Whether these individuals have outgoing personalities or prefer remaining quietly in the background, they tend to owe the success of many of their endeavors to the ability to observe and analyze human attitudes and behavior. They believe knowledge is power and, for them, it is apt to be true.

HOUSE 8
The eighth house is related to taxes, debt, death, legacies, and the income you receive through marriage or business partner(s). It describes your resourcefulness, and your ability to develop and use material assets as well as personal skills and abilities. The eighth house also indicates sexual attitudes and behavior.

PISCES on 8th HOUSE
Pisces ruling the eighth house indicates those who have difficulty collecting what is owed to them. When lending money or granting favors, it should be with the idea of never realizing a return on their investment. Another potential is that they may have a tendency to distort facts regarding taxes or insurance matters, or may be falsely accused of such practices. The negative potential includes the possibility of being cheated of inheritance, or it may be considerably eroded before they can receive it. Mental disorders, physical disabilities or sensitivity to drugs may exist in the genetic makeup of their families. On the positive side, they may also inherit keen intellects, intuition, and artistic talent. There may be erosion or loss of the assets of their marriage or business partners. The income of their spouses as well as that of siblings, may be derived through maritime industries, religion, medicine, photography, psychology, or areas that involve the feet or that deal with the institutionalized, disabled, or minorities. A sibling may suffer from physical or mental disability, hypochondria, hard to diagnose illness, or drug or alcohol abuse.

HOUSE 9
The ninth house describes higher education, advanced training, publishing, publicity, advertising, politics, foreign travel, foreign studies, religious and philosophical views and activities, and cultural pursuits. It relates to court decisions, a second marriage, and in-laws. To a certain extent the ninth house also describes the job or health of your mother.

PISCES on 9th HOUSE
Pisces ruling the ninth house indicates a sensitivity of mind. Though there is the possibility of mental confusion, it is also a strong indication these individuals will have keen intellects and well developed intuitions. There is the potential of disillusionment or some kind of loss and secret or illegal dealings in a foreign country or with foreign people, but it is also possible they will have religious or inspirational experiences while traveling abroad. Their mothers or the spouse of a sibling may suffer from disability, drugs or alcohol, or may be employed in maritime industries, religion, photography, medicine, psychology, areas that involve the feet, minority groups, or those who are institutionalized or disabled. The theater, music, dance, art, and literature are areas that may particularly attract their attention and participation. They may have special interest in religion, spiritualism, or occult subjects. There is danger of vulnerability when it comes to either their ability or willingness to separate reality from fantasy, and idealism from fanaticism.

SATURN in 9th HOUSE
Ninth house Saturn indicates those who succeed in life by reaching beyond their immediate environment for new experiences and understanding. These individuals are, however, apt to be forced by choice or circumstance to be extremely practical about how they do it. Advanced training and higher education, for example, are not undertaken as a mere whim or luxury, or they may have to wait until later in life to accomplish them. Sooner or later they understand the importance of taking a serious approach to such matters when they come to rely heavily on whatever knowledge and skills they have attained. Living in a foreign country or dealing with those of another race or culture is apt to present some difficult or burdensome situation for them. Religion can impose severe limitations rather than spiritual freedom. These individuals may have significant responsibilities where the job or health of a parent is concerned. Circumstances related to in-laws or a second marriage may be long-lasting and stable, though the negative potential suggests added responsibilities are also likely. Patience and persistence when confronted with problems in any of the areas just described, are the keys to overcoming them.

HOUSE 10
The tenth house describes your career and other long-range goals, public reputation, superiors and those in authority. It also relates to your father and his influence in your life.

TAURUS on 10th HOUSE
Taurus ruling the tenth house indicates the likelihood of individuals who want to pursue careers that are worthwhile. Though monetary gain may certainly be a factor in their choices of direction in life, it is by no means the only one. They want whatever they go after and the things they achieve to be solid and enduring. If money is not a primary necessity or goal, they may be just as happy to work long and hard on a volunteer basis in order to achieve long range goals they believe are worthy of their time and attention. Possible career choices include art, music, banking, investment and finance, real estate, agriculture, architecture, landscaping and conservation. Flowers, leather, jewelry, and wood (trees) are things that may also be related to what they are destined to do. Unless there are negative factors in their background, the influence of Taurus suggests stable and sociable parental relationships, and fathers who may be especially handsome or have artistic talent.

HOUSE 11
The eleventh house rules friendships, organizations to which you belong, and income derived from self-employment or career (as opposed to wages earned from a job). It relates to the role you play in the lives of others as child, parent, lover, spouse, friend, social or business associate. The eleventh house also describes your hopes and aspirations and capacity for happiness.

They are usually the ones who write for or publish newsletters or communications put out by the organizations to which they belong. They are often close friends with their siblings. The negative potential includes individuals who become too involved with gossip and superficial friendships or are the victims of such situations. The influence of Gemini suggests that their friends include twins. Friendships are also likely among educators, writers, salespeople, mechanics, secretaries, researchers, and those involved with computers. These individuals also enjoy pen pal friendships. There is a tendency to have more acquaintances than real friends, which may or may not have to do with the fact that many of the contacts they form are based on mental rapport rather than emotional commitment.

PLUTO in 11th HOUSE
Pluto in the eleventh house indicates those whose central theme in life is analyzing what makes them happy. To accommodate what may be an intense desire to find true happiness, they make a completely new beginning with new friends and if possible, in a new environment. The fresh start they attempt may be successful, but if it merely represents a desire to run away from unresolved problems or unsatisfactory relationships, they are certain to fail. By choice or circumstance there may be secrecy and hidden control or manipulation related to the role they play in the lives of others, as child, parent, sibling, lover, spouse, or friend. Understanding the necessity of directing energy away from the self and toward a relationship or group effort, being able to work as part of a group instead of dominating it, and focusing on common goals rather than emphasizing differences are what give ultimate influence and power to those with an eleventh house Pluto.

HOUSE 12
The twelfth house describes the private and hidden side of life; your subconscious mind, dreams, the past, and those who wish you harm or work against your interests. The twelfth house relates to sorrow, disappointment, loss, solitude or confinement, hidden fears and worry. It also has connection with the job or health of your marriage or business partner.

CANCER on 12th HOUSE
Cancer ruling the twelfth house indicates the likelihood of individuals who develop a strong interest in the occult, the arcane, the subconscious, and planes of existence beyond physical reality. However, given the strong emotionalism associated with the influence of Cancer there is also danger that their dealings with such matters can become extreme or get out of hand in some way. They can become their own worst enemy by developing the conscious or subconscious idea there is loss connected with emotional commitment. There is also potential they will become victims of the past by refusing to accept that though the past can teach valuable lessons, it cannot be erased. In any event, they may often be reminded of the past by events connected with it or people from their past who keep returning. Whether they rise above such thoughts or become victims of their own emotions, is indicated by other aspects in the rest of their natal charts. It is almost certain that at one time or another, they will experience secret or clandestine attachments. They are apt to have strong intuitive powers, though it would be a mistake were they to rely on such skills to function consistently.

NEPTUNE in 12th HOUSE
Neptune in the twelfth house indicates those with hidden vulnerability. They can be heavily influenced by dreams, feelings of guilt, and the past. The negative potential of twelfth house Neptune includes the possibility of those who struggle with despair, those who isolate themselves from society, and those who must be confined for one reason or another. Communication with their father may be disrupted from time to time by lack of awareness, fear, or misunderstanding. There is also the potential that their marriage partner may suffer from hypochondria and hard-to-diagnose illnesses. Their partner's job may involve secret or illegal activities, naval or maritime industry, religion, photography, drugs, or charitable institutions. Positive influences of Neptune include those with remarkable intuition, artistic talent, sensitivity, vivid imagination, and spirituality. The ability to float in and out of reality makes these individuals masters of disguise.

MOON in 12th HOUSE
Moon in the twelfth house indicates interest in the occult, the subconscious, dreams, and psychic energy. Intuitive powers may be sharp, though it would be a mistake for these individuals to rely on such skills on a consistent basis. They can develop the idea that there is loss connected with emotional commitment. Some will resist this tendency while others will become lonely victims of their own emotions. Reality and unreality can become woefully confused. It is almost certain that at one time or another they will experience secret or clandestine attachments. With them the past is never quite over. People and events from their past always seem to reappear in subtle and not so subtle forms. Their nature may be quiet but nevertheless social. Instinctively understanding what is wanted by others, they unobtrusively supply it, thereby gaining appreciation and affection. Their home may be on or near the sea.
