PART ONE: THE INNER YOU
In Part One of the interpretations you will read two sections concerned
with your individual traits.
The first section describes your ego (sun), emotional make-up (moon),
learning and intellectual orientation (Mercury), relationships and
sociability (Venus), and the expression and focus of your physical
energy (Mars).
The second section describes how well you deal internally with the
external situations that you experience in life. Your capacity for
happiness (Jupiter), ability to tolerate restrictions and frustrations
(Saturn), how you are associated with or relate to new or innovative
ideas and methods, and radical ideas and events that upset the status
quo (Uranus), how you are associated with or affected by public ideals,
morality, and spirituality (Neptune), and how you are associated with
or affected by public policies toward crime, toward the power of government
and industry, and toward exploration, development, conservation and
distribution of natural resources (Pluto).
SUN
The sun rules will power and ego. It is the core of your potential
and uniqueness as an individual; who you are and what you are about.
It represents the main direction and focus you want your life to take,
and your determination to accomplish what you set out to do. It is
your personal honesty and integrity, and the ability to command respect
and authority, to impress and influence others.
SUN in LIBRA
As the seventh sign of the zodiac, Libra represents the seventh stage
in the evolution of man and his place in the universe. The first six
signs represent man's attention turned inward to understand and develop
his individuality and position in the cosmos. The rest of the signs
represent his attention turned outward to humanity as a whole. Libra
is not merely the sign of partnership, it is the sign of other people
in general. Libra is the balance between the individual and society.
To attain the understanding man seeks in Libra, there must be a compromise
between the passion and the intellect. The physical world must come
to terms with the nonphysical world. The objectivity of judgment needed
for these tasks is characteristic of the Libran temperament. Un-evolved
Librans can be cold and unemotional or unable to make decisions. But
this is not true of mature Librans in whom such traits merely represent
attempts to reach true objectivity.
Librans are doers. In spite of their need to be liked, and reluctance
to face confrontations, they are surprisingly strong-willed. They
set out to accomplish their goals and will find ways to succeed one
way or another, usually by using their wit and charm. The "iron fist
in a velvet glove" approach is one key to their success. When such
ploys are ineffective however, they can become uncharacteristically
aggressive and determined to solve the matter then and there. Their
change of attitude in such situations is usually effective enough
to catch others off guard and allow the Librans to gain control. If
they become convinced nothing more is to be gained no matter what
they do, they won't hesitate to walk away from a situation with no
further explanation or thought of returning. The Scales are Libra's
astrological symbol and Librans require balance in their lives. In
relationships, they invariably give back in kind what they have been
given.
Librans react to everything they experience in life with an intellectual
orientation. Before they take physical action, before they assess
the practical worth of something, and before they sort out their true
emotions, they try to visualize it objectively as a kind of mental
exercise. It would be a mistake to believe they lack passion. They
can be outrageous flirts and true romantics. Their passion is not
apt to be sustained however, if their interest in someone does not
include intellectual rapport as well as physical attraction.
Venus, planet of beauty and social grace, rules Libra. They get emotional,
physical, and psychological pleasure from beauty in all forms. Books,
music, flowers, and perfume are typical delights. If their environment
is not esthetically pleasing, they can become unhappy without even
realizing that their surroundings may be at least partly responsible
for their depression. For Librans, social grace begins with good manners,
extends to high level diplomacy, and ends with abhorrence of disagreeable
confrontations. When forced to endure a fractious environment, they
lose ability to think or function efficiently. They promote peace
and harmony, and will invariably opt to bypass hostile confrontations
whenever some equally effective method can be employed. Though they
need partnership and association with other people, they do not like
crowds and attempt to avoid them whenever possible.
Librans can exert impressive physical energy but the stamina they
need to do it tends to run in cycles. They work hard, play hard, and
then collapse into inertia until nature restores the balance and their
energy returns. Addicted to the luxuries and creature comforts of
life, Librans have a lazy streak, especially when it comes to physical
exercise. Few of them will walk if they can ride. Fondness for rich
food (sugar is their biggest weakness) makes it necessary to get proper
physical exercise. However, if they have not been thoroughly indoctrinated
to the virtues of physical fitness from childhood, and in the meanwhile
nothing or no one has come along to inspire them to stay in shape,
they simply turn into marshmallows. Tennis, hiking, horseback riding,
skating, and aerobics are a few activities with special appeal for
Librans.
Libra colors are ivory, pink (or rose), turquoise, and blue. Vulnerable
parts of the body are the kidneys, lumbar region of the back, and
ovaries. Lower back pain, and the problems caused by too much sugar
or rich food are common complaints. Libra's birthstone is the opal.
This unique gem consists mostly of ordinary sand and water. Just as
hidden water in opals cause the fire in the gem, there is more emotional
content than is apparent behind the brilliant flashes of the Libran
intellect. Libra rules flowers in general but particularly appropriate
blooms for Libra include roses (white or pink), daisies, violets,
asters, and orchids.
MOON
The moon rules desire as opposed to ego, need as opposed to expediency
or reason. It describes how you feel about yourself, how you handle
relationships, and how you emotionally respond to situations and experiences.
It describes the flow of your daily functions; physical, emotional,
and mental. The moon represents your residence and domestic environment.
It rules babies and young children, your mother and other important
females in your life.
MOON in GEMINI
Those born with the moon in an Air sign usually respond to situations
in a way they think should fit the facts, that is, they act in a way
they think others expect them to act, or they imitate the same behavior
as others. This gives them the appearance of emotional coolness or
non-involvement. Before turning a situation into a physical experience,
and before considering the stability or practicality of the thing,
or even how they may really feel about it, they tend to do and say
what seems appropriate as if it were not really happening to them.
In spite of what appears to be their analytical detachment, most of
them are loving and loyal in relationships. As lunar Air sign personalities,
those with moon in Gemini can sometimes take their intellectual approach
too far. Constant analyzing, rationalization, and acting as though
they had already experienced something instead of just thinking or
talking about it, can prevent them from ever doing it. They are talkative,
mentally alert, and curious about everything. Always looking for some
kind of intellectual stimulation, they get bored by repetitive tasks
and the same environment day after day. Attracted by intrigue and
idle gossip, they pay too much attention to what everyone else is
doing. Restless and impatient, they do not always take time to get
all the facts before repeating things. As eager to share information
as they are to receive it, many of them are talented teachers, writers,
and communicators of one sort or another.
Gemini moon personalities are emotionally adaptable. A dual-natured
flexibility allows them to say or do one thing with apparent ease,
even though what they really think and feel may be quite different.
They instinctively understand what others want to hear and what to
do to please them, but they don't always know how to make themselves
happy. Though quite willing to discuss others, they can be secretive
about themselves. Their outer personality may be bright and optimistic
but they can harbor inner feelings of loneliness. Moon in Gemini personalities
love secrets and solving puzzles. They have highly sensitive nervous
systems and, in order to maintain proper physical and mental health,
they need to be given varied tasks and opportunities for frequent
change of scene or alterations in their daily routine.
Women with Gemini moon are talented with their hands. Though efficient
and organized, a certain restlessness makes it difficult for them
to remain content with household chores. Men with Gemini moon are
quite charming but their temperaments are not particularly suited
to sustained passion in themselves or tolerating emotional hysteria
in others.
MERCURY
Mercury indicates mental outlook, intellectual endeavors, the way
you think and communicate. It represents ideas, methods, and information.
It rules your hands and thus your manual dexterity and mechanical
skills. Mercury also describes transportation; that is, how you get
where you're going physically and mentally. Do you speed with all
possible haste or amble along taking a few detours here and there?
MERCURY in LIBRA
Individuals with natal Mercury in Libra want to see their ideas translated
into money and other tangible rewards. Many of them seek to earn their
living in mental rather than physical endeavors. Literary pursuits
can range from a fondness for gossip magazines to serious studies
in literature and talent for writing. Artistic tendencies include
crafts, music, art or design. Interest in the law can turn them into
court reporters, courtroom spectators, lawyers, or judges. Their objectivity
and unbiased approach works well in impersonal situations but it can
hamper situations where more emotional expression and less intellectual
analysis are required. Their methods and approach to learning and
transportation are rapid and enthusiastic, tending, whenever possible,
to embrace the more luxurious forms. Expect then, to find them pursuing
literature in an expensive car.
VENUS
Venus rules your social attitudes and behavior, and your aesthetic
tastes and inclinations. It is female relationships and social interactions
at every level. Venus indicates your values. It describes romance,
marriage and other partnerships, capacity for humor, and the pursuit
of pleasure.
VENUS in VIRGO
Individuals with Venus in Virgo may be somewhat inhibited when it
comes to establishing social relationships. They do however, quickly
warm to people who go out of their way to make them feel at ease,
those with similar interests, and those with whom they can find some
means of personal identification. Even if they are very interested
in pursuing a relationship (romantic or otherwise) they are not likely
to be the aggressor. When they do go out of their way to form associations,
it is usually for practical reasons. Close friendships may be few,
but those they do make are treated with care and responsibility. They
can miss good times, good friends, and sometimes even romance, because
they wait too long for the conditions to be just perfect.
MARS
Mars rules physical energy and efforts. It describes the strength
and direction of the physical force that drives your ego, fires your
emotions, and encourages your mental endeavors and communicative skills.
It describes male relationships and associations, risk-taking inclinations,
and the physical challenges you are likely to encounter.
MARS in LEO
Mars in Leo individuals are likely to be very generous with their
time and attention. Inclined toward grandiose gestures and improbable
schemes, whatever they do is usually done in a big way. Sometimes
their energy and enthusiasm are such inspirational forces they are
actually able to accomplish some of the seemingly impossible things
they set out to do. Strong determination is another important factor
in their stunning accomplishments. If they allow stubborn pride to
interfere, however, they can waste valuable time. Their efforts may
be very creative, though they may need to be reminded of practical
considerations and assisted by those more attentive to mundane details.
JUPITER
Jupiter rules your potential for growth and expansion on many levels;
physical, intellectual, spiritual, cultural, and the accumulation
of material assets, power, and status. It describes your optimism
and aspirations. It represents your father and his position in society.
JUPITER in LIBRA
Individuals with Jupiter in Libra are often dependent for personal
growth on the stimulation they derive from others, and the contacts
they make by constant interactions with others. Working in partnership,
joint ventures, and other cooperate efforts is the key to their success.
Jupiter's influence in Libra indicates increased capacity to get along
with, and favorably influence others. It also indicates an inspired
sense of justice. The desire they have for growth is generally in
an intellectual or aesthetic area. To attain what they seek, these
individuals have to deal successfully with Jupiter's tendency for
overabundance and Libra's need to strike a balance between excess
and austerity.
SATURN
Saturn rules responsibilities, restrictions and limitations you are
apt to encounter, and the lessons you must learn in life. It does
not deny or diminish imagination, inspiration, spirituality, and good
fortune but it does demand that these things be given structure and
meaning.
SATURN in AQUARIUS
Individuals with natal Saturn in Aquarius are confronted with situations
that in order to be successful need organization, dedication and stability,
yet must also have room for freedom and original thinking. Somehow
they have to effectively deal with the conflict between control and
non-control. They are responsible for wise use of freedom, as well
as accepting (or imposing) the rigidity of organization and discipline
that are also necessary if anything is to be accomplished.
URANUS
Uranus rules personal as well as societal freedom. It indicates originality
of thought and expression. In society it rules radical ideas and people
as well as revolutionary events that upset established structures.
Uranus takes approximately seven years to transit one sign, taking
about 84 years to complete all twelve signs. Since groups of people
with Uranus in the same sign are separated by 84 years, the influence
of this planet in a sign is generational. The personal implications
of Uranus in your life are described by its house position and the
aspects it makes with other planets in your natal chart. It describes
areas of unpredictability, and where you or your life style may be
different than those around you. It relates to the unusual or unique.
Friends and associations to which you belong are also indicated, as
is your potential involvement with science and technology, computers,
and the media.
URANUS in TAURUS
The generation of individuals born with natal Uranus in Taurus do
not care to make changes for the sake of making changes, nor do they
accept originality just because it is different. For them, changes
and innovations must have structure and purpose. Freedom is encouraged
if responsibilities are also accepted. The importance of theories
are recognized but only to the extent that their practical application
is considered feasible.
NEPTUNE
Neptune rules those who are oppressed or abandoned; the misfits of
society. On a higher level it rules visionaries, and those who are
glamorous and charismatic. It represents spirituality, mysticism,
and ideals. Neptune is in one sign for approximately thirteen years,
taking about 164 years to complete its cycle through all twelve signs.
Since 164 years separate people born during its transit of one sign
and those born when it returns, Neptune's significance in any sign
is described as generational or historical. On a personal level, Neptune's
house position and the aspects it makes with other planets in your
natal chart will describe spirituality, abstract thinking, illusion,
disillusionment, and other areas of your life where things aren't
always what they seem. It rules derangement, guilt, persecution, and
describes the potential for experiences related to confinement, abandonment,
and addiction or physical intolerance to drugs.
NEPTUNE in VIRGO
Among other things Virgo rules the search for ideals, work and the
labor force. During the most recent period of Neptune in Virgo in
1928-1943 idealism went tragically awry in Hitler's plan to eradicate
all those he considered inferior. The National Labor Relations Board
was established to reassert the right to collective bargaining.
PLUTO
Pluto takes approximately 248 years to make one cycle through all
twelve signs. The period Pluto spends in each sign can vary from twelve
years to thirty two years due to the eccentricity of its orbit. Like
atomic energy (a force ruled by Pluto), the presence and direction
of Pluto's energy are never obvious until it is used. Pluto's influence
in any sign is interpreted as generational or historical. In your
personal life, Pluto's significance is interpreted from its house
position and the aspects it makes to other natal planets in your horoscope.
Pluto rules intense energy, and describes the areas in which you consciously
or subconsciously seek to exercise power or control. Pluto is also
linked to your karmic responsibility, and in this respect, it describes
the areas where you must gain the deepest level of understanding.
PLUTO in CANCER
Pluto's last period in Cancer was 1912-1939. Cancer rules women and
the family. During the 20's the attitudes and roles of women were
transformed. They demanded greater freedom in society and release
from the drudgery of domestic chores. As a result of the increasing
number of women seeking employment outside of the home, family life
also changed dramatically.
PART TWO: THE OUTER YOU
In Part Two you will read about the twelve houses of the horoscope.
The houses represent areas of life in which you operate on a daily
basis. You will read descriptions of how you handle the circumstances
you encounter in each of these areas, according to your nature, personality
and other traits as they are outlined in Part One.
HOUSE 1
The first house and the sign that rules the first house, which is
also known as the Ascendant or Rising sign, describes your outer personality
and physical attributes. To some extent it also describes your health
and the type of illnesses you may experience.
SAGITTARIUS ASCENDANT
A Sagittarius Ascendant indicates individuals with a certain type
of flexible personality that works well for them. Because of their
need for independence and freedom, they are apt to constantly put
themselves in changing circumstances and different environments. Such
changes would, in turn, require a certain amount of adaptability.
Many of these individuals put marriage off until later in life or
skip it altogether unless they find understanding partners who do
not attempt to be possessive or confine them. Once such an acceptable
marriage arrangement is made however, they adapt and are stable, loyal
spouses.
They are full of energetic enthusiasm. However, their enthusiasm is
not necessarily always accompanied by unflagging physical energy.
They may, in fact, tend to be lazy unless highly motivated to perform.
It is often difficult to engage in boring routine exercise and in
spite of their innate restlessness and propensity for rushing around
in a myriad of activities, they are quite capable of being unwilling
(or unable) to keep themselves trim and in good physical shape. Though
often rash and hasty their passions are sincere and inspirational.
Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, planet of inspiration, wisdom, good
fortune, and abundance. These individuals are apt to be spiritually
or philosophically oriented, talkative, intellectually curious, and,
at times, perhaps a bit too impressed with status and wealth. Their
natural exuberance and generosity are responsible for unrestrained
abundance. Like those with Gemini Ascendants, they are apt to demonstrate
any one of a wide range of orientations and abilities, from being
great teachers, writers, scholars or researchers all the way down
to those who engage in the flimflam of con artists and the intellectual
emptiness of merely copying the originality and talent of others.
They are apt to be very honest, though it is also true that their
too-candid remarks can sometimes be misinterpreted as rudeness. The
negative influences associated with Sagittarius Ascendant indicate
the possibility of those afflicted with a tendency for self-indulgence
which makes them pompous, grossly overweight, dependent on drugs or
alcohol, or too opinionated and cynical. On the positive side, Sagittarius
indicates love of drama and the theater, good food and drink, dancing,
sports, animals, and, as a rule, they never miss an opportunity to
travel. They are likely to be involved with publishing, education,
religion, art, or music, either as a profession or hobby.
HOUSE 2
The second house describes material assets, how you handle monetary
income, and the potential ways it may be earned. It also indicates
the values and priorities you establish throughout life.
CAPRICORN on 2nd HOUSE
Capricorn ruling the second house is not an indication of great wealth
nor does it imply a lack of wealth. It indicates individuals whose
material assets, values and priorities are likely to be a constant
source of concern. However, worry over money may be what motivates
them to acquire enough income that poverty never becomes a reality.
There is also potential that some of these individuals will rebel
against monetary restrictions, and, valuing the pleasures of life
more than security, they waste their resources. Even in those who
are miserly, or at least very conservative about spending money, there
are conflicting patterns of behavior to which they may fall victim.
Appropriate to the old adage of being "penny wise and pound foolish,
" they can be foolishly extravagant when it was unnecessary and excessively
prudent when a more generous attitude would have been wise. This behavior
applies to more than just money. Their biggest fear, for example,
may be that others will take advantage of their time and talents.
Establishing the correct values and priorities, and reacting to monetary
advantages, or disadvantages, as the case may be, are life's biggest
challenges.
SATURN in 2nd HOUSE
For those with Saturn in the second house, the biggest lessons in
life involve income and assets. This Saturn influence does not necessarily
indicate lack of wealth. It implies that material assets as well as
values and priorities, are a constant source of concern. Whether they
are rich or poor, these individuals worry about money. Concern with
money, however, is usually their motivation to acquire it, and few
of them ever experience the poverty they fear. They are foolishly
extravagant when it is unnecessary, and too prudent when a more generous
attitude is needed. They may be so wary about being taken advantage
of that they refuse to help deserving people or causes. Some of them
overcompensate for such unworthy suspicions by being too generous,
with the unfortunate result that people take advantage of them. Grappling
with values, priorities, and money- and in the process learning what
is really important in life- is the key to their happiness and success.
HOUSE 3
The third house describes your mental state, intellectual orientation,
self-expression and communication, early education, mechanical dexterity
and skills, immediate environment (neighborhood), and siblings. It
indicates physical actions, and transportation, especially within
your immediate environment. To a certain extent the third house also
describes the job or health of your father.
PISCES on 3rd HOUSE
Pisces ruling the third house indicates those with developed intuitions
and special interest in spiritual matters and occult subjects. They
are apt to have high intelligence but also mental laziness, an unwillingness
to explore areas of thought that appear to be too much work. A parent,
in most cases the father, is apt to be employed in fishing or maritime
industries, chemistry, photography, medicine (especially homeopathy,
podiatry, or cosmetic surgery), psychology, areas involving feet which
could mean working in a shoe store to being a dancer, or areas that
involve minority groups, the disabled or institutionalized. He may
suffer hypochondria, mental confusion, or hard to diagnose illness.
Pisces ruling the third house may also mean individuals who are particularly
sensitive even clairvoyant with siblings. There is also the possibility
of loss of siblings, or siblings with drug dependencies. Illegal drugs
may be used or sold by neighbors. There can be mental confusion, and
it helps if these individuals spend a certain amount of time alone
or in quiet environments, especially near the ocean. They like to
use a pet name or alias, and (unless they develop a fear of water)
enjoy travel by boat.
HOUSE 4
The fourth house describes your residence, domestic environment, and
family members, especially your mother. It indicates the beginning
as well as the end of various cycles in your life.
ARIES on 4th HOUSE
Aries ruling the fourth house indicates individuals whose energy and
vitality are primarily linked to family or to some aspect of home
or domestic life. This description can have a wide range of potential
outcomes. It may indicate for instance, that their occupations involve
real estate, interior design, architecture, or family counseling,
or, that their business is operated in their homes. The Aries influence
in the case of some of these individuals, may also mean fear of their
parents or that one of their parents, most likely the mother, may
be domineering. There is also the negative possibility of a volatile,
sometimes violent domestic life. Fire is also a potential hazard.
On the positive side, the Aries influence implies very active domestic
lifestyles, and that their homes are likely to be designed or decorated
with a distinctly masculine orientation. If given the opportunity,
they will want to build their own homes. They may be the first ones
to live in a particular area, perhaps as an unconscious reflection
of the pioneering spirit associated with the Aries influence on their
fourth house.
URANUS in 4th HOUSE
Uranus in the fourth house indicates those who experience unpredictable,
unusual or unorthodox circumstances regarding home and family. These
individuals are apt to adopt a very different life style or reside
in a much different type of place than the one in which they were
brought up. Choosing a dramatically different life style or environment
may be deliberate on their part, but it is just as likely to occur
as a result of circumstances over which they have no control. Other
potentials include those who experience sudden separation from a parent
or from home and family, and those who are forced by circumstances
to live for a time under abnormal or unusual conditions. The influence
of Uranus also suggests those who tend to favor odd or unusual designs
and architecture in their home and its furnishings. They enjoy mixing
the very old with the very new in eclectic arrangements. Everyone
is welcomed into their home as a friend, and their home is likely
to be the favorite gathering place for the groups and organizations
to which they belong.
URANUS square PLUTO
Uranus square Pluto only applies to those born in the early 30's.
Their lives were dramatically changed as a result of the great depression
that preceded their births. Their early years were shaped by this
transformation that affected all levels of society and, subtle or
not, it affects how members of this generation behave as adults. How
subtle or great an influence depends on other factors in their personalities
and backgrounds.
HOUSE 5
The fifth house describes your creative talent and imaginative powers,
capacity for enjoyment and the pursuit of pleasure, romance, children,
and speculative ventures.
TAURUS on 5th HOUSE
Taurus ruling the fifth house indicates individuals with potential
for raising the pursuit of pleasure to a fine art. They are apt to
have merry, sociable and generous natures, with the capacity to genuinely
enjoy the physical pleasures life has to offer. They may be just plain
lucky as well. They may, for example, be very obese but dress with
such good taste they manage to look good anyway, or they are able
to move gracefully despite their size. They are apt to have such wonderful
manners and personal charm others don't notice or become offended
if they happen to overindulge themselves. They may be the world's
great lovers and their conquests don't seem to mind being only one
in a long line of romantic partners. A fifth house Taurean influence
indicates artistic creativity and many of them are talented stage
or costume designers, musicians, artists, writers or illustrators.
They are likely to have wonderful rapport with children, understanding
what activities will amuse and entertain them. Negative potentials
for Taurus on the fifth house include individuals with problems concerning
children or romance, or who have bad luck in speculative ventures.
HOUSE 6
The sixth house describes your job, daily responsibilities (paid and
unpaid), and those who work for or with you. It also represents your
health, and physical fitness.
TAURUS on 6th HOUSE
Taurus ruling the sixth house indicates individuals who prefer jobs
that involve working either with a partner or a number of co-workers.
Negative potentials for Taurus on the sixth house can include individuals
who may be too lazy to work and drift from one job to another, finding
something wrong with every one, creating excuses to quit. Individuals
with Taurus on the sixth house find it difficult to work efficiently,
if at all, when their efforts are not appreciated, or there is continuous
disharmony and confrontation. They work well in physically comfortable
environments. They are likely to meet their marriage partner through
their job. They are usually pet fanciers and their animals are likely
to be well-trained and cared for. These individuals often pursue health
and fitness programs and may even become professionally involved in
this type of work. They also find occupations as florists and in public
relations, agriculture, banking, investment and finance, or some phase
of the beauty industry.
MOON in 6th HOUSE
Moon in the sixth house indicates vulnerability to a continuing variety
of medical complaints, especially stomach or digestive disorders.
The ailments of these individuals are usually not major threats but
can disrupt their work and routine schedules. They are apt to operate
a business from their home, or seek jobs related to homes, food, family
life, women, or children. They develop mothering instincts and other
strong emotional identification toward those who work for or with
them. They may work better with women than with men. Work habits may
be inconsistent as is their ability to stay in jobs. Their general
health and psychological outlook are strongly affected by their work,
and when the work environment or responsibilities are upsetting for
some reason, inefficiency and absences are the result.
MOON square NEPTUNE
Success is possible with Moon square Neptune but perhaps only after
many emotionally discouraging false starts. Some of these individuals
may quit just at the edge of success, never realizing how close they
were, while others develop the maturity to hang in until they succeed.
Valuable time can be lost chasing unrealistic goals or useless people
and situations. Disorganization and inattention to detail can also
impede their progress but such faults can be and often are overcome.
HOUSE 7
The seventh house relates to marriage and partnership or joint ventures
of any kind. It describes how you interact with people and how others
tend to regard you. The seventh house is associated with legal matters,
negotiations, contracts, and all open confrontations, pleasant as
well as adversarial.
GEMINI on 7th HOUSE
Gemini ruling the seventh house indicates individuals who are concerned
with partnerships, contracts, public relations, and the law. They
may end up in partnership with their siblings, or aunts and uncles
on their mother's side of the family. They are also apt to have several
partnerships concerning different enterprises, including the distinct
possibility of more than one marriage. Because they are often unwilling
to give up their freedom or fail to find a partner sympathetic to
this need, they may not marry at all. If they marry more than once,
they will probably manage to separate these events, but bigamy is
not out of the range of possibilities. They can get into long conversations
with practically everyone they meet including total strangers. They
are always interested in knowing everyone else's business, and can
be guilty of engaging in too much small talk or gossip. Many of these
individuals possess excellent memories for names, faces, and facts
about other people. Their marriage or business partners are apt to
be involved in teaching, writing, publishing, or work in advertising
or communications.
HOUSE 8
The eighth house is related to taxes, debt, death, legacies, and the
income you receive through marriage or business partner(s). It describes
your resourcefulness, and your ability to develop and use material
assets as well as personal skills and abilities. The eighth house
also indicates sexual attitudes and behavior.
CANCER on 8th HOUSE
Cancer ruling the eighth house indicates individuals who know exactly
what they want and will go about satisfying their desires with remarkable
tenaciousness. They are not likely to be glib or open about emotional
needs, though when they are sure a particular situation is well in
hand, they can be brutally frank and explicit about what they want.
Others may find it difficult to fathom their true emotions, especially
since they can appear to be emotionally satisfied even when they are
not. They are apt to have instinctual responses and may come to rely
on their intuition in handling finances and other resources. They
may be attracted to mysteries, the occult, and the arcane. Though
the Cancerian influence on the eighth house suggests the strong possibility
of inheritance, it is just as strongly evident that their family and
family connections may be among their most valuable resources. They
are very vulnerable in matters of sex and romance, but there is potential
for great strength as well as selfishness, so in many cases, they
give as good as they get.
PLUTO in 8th HOUSE
Pluto in the eighth house indicates those who possess formidable strength
and endurance; a truly remarkable life force. However, Pluto in the
eighth house also indicates those with a dark side to their nature,
a side that can cause cynicism and despair. Pluto's influence in the
eighth house implies a strong sexual appetite that often plays a major
positive or negative role in their life. Sexual urges can be and often
are sublimated into other activities, but however they choose to apply
such energy, indifference to sex is unlikely to occur. The ability
to concentrate their energy and attention helps these individuals
develop remarkable investigative and research skills. They are resourceful
and observant, with great interest in human motivations and behavior.
Pluto's influence in the eighth house indicates secrecy and hidden
control or manipulation related to sexual matters, legacies, debts,
joint income and other resources.
MARS in 8th HOUSE
Mars in the eighth house indicates those with intense energy and stamina.
Where they focus their energy is not determined solely by Mars in
the eighth house, but there is likely to be a certain aggressiveness
and concentrated energy connected with almost everything they do.
They are sure to have very specific desires and no hesitation about
trying to gratify them. They may be secretive or circumspect in their
movements and activities, or give that kind of impression. The negative
potential includes those who are deeply possessive or vengeful. The
influence of Mars suggests an active sex life, intense feelings concerning
sexual matters and toward the opposite sex. Many of these individuals
develop remarkable ability to understand sexuality from a psychological
as well as physical point of view, and to do research or counseling
in this field. They are usually physically resourceful, and have talent
for doing more than one thing extremely well. They are likely to possess
mechanical and/or artistic skills that are especially valuable in
renovation and remodeling.
MARS opposite SATURN
Individuals with Mars opposite Saturn do not tolerate those who are
overbearing or authoritative. They may not always show resentment
outwardly but will usually seek to extricate themselves from this
type of domination in one way or another. There may be loss of parents,
or parents may exhibit the domineering influence they find so difficult.
For them, the key to success is in learning to deal with structure
and authority in a more positive way.

a certain extent the ninth house also describes the job or health
of your mother.
VIRGO on 9th HOUSE
Virgo ruling the ninth house indicates those concerned with higher
education, philosophy, religion, art, and foreign cultures. It is
also an indication of desire to travel to foreign countries, being
educated or trained in a foreign country, and earning advanced degrees
in more than one subject. Their mothers may be teachers, writers,
or work with unions, the handicapped, sick, or minority groups. These
individuals are apt to write, or work in publishing, advertising,
sales, diplomacy, the judicial system, anthropology, travel, teaching,
or politics. The negative potential includes the possibility of lacking
the means with which to pursue advanced degrees, lack of ability or
patience to pursue education, faulty memory, trouble with in-laws,
and limited mechanical ability. It can also mean individuals guilty
of sermonizing, demagoguery, or moral righteousness. There is however,
sure to be a measure of intellectual curiosity, and even if they are
prone more to gossip than study, they may still be clever enough to
learn what they need or want to know.
NEPTUNE in 9th HOUSE
Neptune in the ninth house indicates those who are highly intelligent
but also vulnerable to mental confusion, fanaticism or misplaced idealism.
They may be totally organized and efficient in some things, while
appallingly inattentive to facts and details in others. Depending
on other factors in their personality and background, they may be
a dangerous master of the art of deception or a highly successful
promoter. They are apt to have interest in religion and spiritualism.
Neptune's negative influence includes the possibility of disillusionment,
deception, or illegal activities in a foreign country or involving
foreigners. On the positive side, Neptune's influence can mean that
their experiences with those of another race or culture may be highly
inspirational or spiritual. Neptune in the ninth house implies work
or interest in publishing (especially of occult or religious writing)
or counseling. These individuals are also compassionate judges and
sensitive teachers. A ninth house Neptune suggests a parent (mother)
or a sibling's spouse may suffer from disabilities, drugs or alcohol,
or they may be employed in a job that involves maritime industry,
religion, photography, medicine, psychology, footwear, or those who
are institutionalized, disabled, or minorities. Relations with in-laws,
a second marriage, and court decisions can become confused or undermined
by deception, misunderstandings, or other influences.
VENUS in 9th HOUSE
Venus in the ninth house indicates those who are culturally oriented,
spiritually inspired, and philosophically inclined. They often develop
idealistic notions regarding social structures. However, if there
are no negative factors in their personality or background to interfere,
most of them strike a balance between their ideals and practical reality.
They like to think of themselves as citizens of the world, and indeed,
they often fit this description. Many of them seek positions in writing,
broadcasting, advertising, and higher education. The influence of
Venus suggests potential for romance, marriage, partnership and joint
ventures in foreign countries or with those of a different nationality
or race. The negative potential can mean anti-social attitudes, difficulty
with in-laws, and unfavorable court judgments. It also implies difficulty
obtaining advanced degrees and specialized training.
SUN in 9th HOUSE
Sun in the ninth house indicates those whose personal identification
is with the world at large. To find the success they desire, they
must go beyond their immediate environment and reach for broader experiences
and knowledge. They must establish contact with the many rather than
the few. Theirs is a generous, risk-taking nature with the capacity
to enjoy the best that life offers. Professional status can become
overly important. The negative potential of this sun house position
includes those who are bombastic, morally righteous, or pseudointellectual,
as well as those who experience difficulty with in-laws and unfavorable
court decisions. The positive side of the sun's influence includes
potential for intellectual gifts, physical or athletic skills, linguistic
ability, and personal independence.
SUN trine MOON
Sun trine Moon indicates individuals apt to be pretty well satisfied
with themselves. This aspect is not a certain indication they will
have an outward tendency for self-promotion, and for some, it may
be more about having an inner contentment that helps them stand up
to the trials of rejection and other personal disappointments in life.
They have a strong (or perhaps just lucky) life force and energy when
survival becomes the issue.
HOUSE 10
The tenth house describes your career and other long-range goals,
public reputation, superiors and those in authority. It also relates
to your father and his influence in your life.
LIBRA on 10th HOUSE
Libra ruling the tenth house indicates individuals who attract attention
because of their physical appearance, artistic talent, position in
society, or simply because they enjoy being in the spotlight. The
influence of Libra on the tenth house is an indication of the need
for these individuals to strike a balance between home and family
and their careers or long range goals. Their destiny is to have both
of those directions satisfied and equally represented in order to
achieve true happiness and success. It doesn't mean they have to have
a career but in addition to family responsibilities, they must establish
(and achieve) personal goals that help them realize their potential
as individuals. The reverse is also true, their careers or personal
goals must not be accomplished at the expense of family relationships.
The negative potential can mean difficult and antisocial relationships
with parents (most likely the father) as well as with supervisors
or other authority figures in general.
MERCURY in 10th HOUSE
Mercury in the tenth house indicates individuals who want their thoughts
and ideas conveyed to an audience. Even if they do not seek public
attention for themselves, they want a public forum for their ideas,
or in which to put these ideas into practice. They may write speeches
for others, or become city planners and engineers. Others enjoy mental
pursuits in public places such as chess matches in the park or writing
letters to the editors of newspapers. There is also the potential
for more than one career, or a dual-natured quality connected with
their work. The negative potential of this Mercury house position
includes difficulty in communicating with the father or other authority
figures, and problems establishing their own authority. Mercury's
influence in the tenth house is an indication of writers, teachers,
public speakers, or politicians. Their career or profession may demand
a great deal of traveling, or involve transportation or networking.
MERCURY conjunct JUPITER
Mercury conjunct Jupiter indicates those who may or may not seek to
attain advanced degrees but sooner or later get caught up in expanding
their consciousness and improving their intellectual horizons on some
level. Their disposition toward communicating with others is generous,
and they are happy to share ideas and information, though they may
tend to attach too great of an importance to their own thoughts and
opinions at times.
MERCURY trine SATURN
Mercury trine Saturn implies those with stable minds, common sense,
and a correct sense of timing. They have organizational and administrative
abilities, and are apt to wander effortlessly into many situations
in life in which they can use their intellectual and communicative
skills to great advantage. Understanding structure and purpose is
among their most valuable intellectual assets.
MERCURY opposite URANUS
Mercury opposite Uranus indicates those apt to possess remarkable
intelligence and perception. Their trouble is often a matter of avoiding
mental confusion, otherwise it is impossible to coordinate and clearly
communicate their thoughts and ideas. Easily distracted they find
it difficult to relax. Their physical movements are apt to be quite
jerky and often result in bumping into things.
MERCURY square PLUTO
Mercury square Pluto indicates those who want to succeed, and success
they do attain is likely to result from frustrations they encounter.
Their intellectual perceptions are keenly analytical. They know how
to go about doing things, and if laziness or some other factor does
not interfere, they get what they want. They enjoy knowing how things
work, especially the psychology of human behavior.
JUPITER in 10th HOUSE
Jupiter in the tenth house indicates those who consciously or subconsciously
seek a public forum to exhibit their intellectual skills, artistic
talent, or specialized training. What they know or what they do must
be transmitted to others and so they seek work and activities that
put them directly in touch with the public. Jupiter's influence suggests
special interest or a career in such areas as promotion, entertainment,
politics, art, sales, broadcasting, education, or religion. These
individuals may effortlessly attract the attention of those with power
and influence, and just as effortlessly achieve such positions themselves.
Jupiter's influence suggests the potential for their father to have
wealth, honor and status, and, that he is a generous parent who broadens
their intellectual horizon, and gives them valuable assistance and
advice. The negative potential includes difficulty or loss related
to their father, restrictions imposed by superiors, and frustration
or delay in attaining promotions or other personal goals. It can also
mean individuals who are put in situations for which they are not
adequately prepared, or for which they lack the necessary skills.
JUPITER trine SATURN
Jupiter trine Saturn implies luck, but it is a generational aspect.
While many of those born with this fortunate planetary influence are
successful, their personal success will have to be supported by other
factors in their personalities and backgrounds. Conditions in society
are favorable for them, enabling most of them to be at least moderately
successful, while many others without this aspect, for example, may
be unemployed, or unsuitable in some way for the demands of the current
conditions.
JUPITER opposite URANUS
This generational aspect implies unstable conditions and a general
confusion that may lead to complete chaos, all quite often the result
of a complete reversal of existing conditions. It is an aspect of
rebellion against the status quo, and individuals born with this aspect
may tend to be temperamentally suited to such a condition unless other
factors in their personalities and backgrounds soften its influence.
JUPITER square PLUTO
Jupiter square Pluto implies a generation that succeeds through sheer
force of will power. Societal situations which confront these individuals
involve issues of power and control and, as a result, they are forced
to analyze and understand human psychological motivations and behavioral
patterns. How much of this spills into their private affairs is a
matter of other factors in their personalities and backgrounds.
HOUSE 11
The eleventh house rules friendships, organizations to which you belong,
and income derived from self-employment or career (as opposed to wages
earned from a job). It relates to the role you play in the lives of
others as child, parent, lover, spouse, friend, social or business
associate. The eleventh house also describes your hopes and aspirations
and capacity for happiness.
SCORPIO on 11th HOUSE
Scorpio ruling the eleventh house indicates individuals who are likely
to find that one of their central themes in life is a constant analysis
and re-analysis of exactly what makes them happy. To accommodate what
may be intense desire to find true happiness, they may attempt completely
new beginnings by making new friends in a new environment, or establish
friendships solely to improve their social status or to gain some
other material advantage. Scorpio's influence indicates potential
for these individuals to regard their friends and memberships in certain
organizations as valuable personal resources that give them a more
powerful personal image. Another strong possibility that occurs under
Scorpio's influence, especially in those with more aggressive personalities,
is the conscious or subconscious need to manipulate and control organizations
to which they belong, as well as their friendships. Those with rather
shy or more vulnerable natures may be the victims, and it is they
who are manipulated or taken advantage of. Whether by choice or circumstance
there is secrecy or mystery connected with friendships and/or organizations
to which they belong.
HOUSE 12
The twelfth house describes the private and hidden side of life; your
subconscious mind, dreams, the past, and those who wish you harm or
work against your interests. The twelfth house relates to sorrow,
disappointment, loss, solitude or confinement, hidden fears and worry.
It also has connection with the job or health of your marriage or
business partner.
SCORPIO on 12th HOUSE
Scorpio ruling the twelfth house indicates the likelihood of individuals
who participate in or investigate secret activities or organizations.
It also suggests an unconscious need to be powerful, effective individuals.
Those who have positions of personal power would not particularly
want others to know the source of that power. Scorpio suggests the
likelihood of being alert to subconscious levels of thought and existence,
dreams, the occult, and spiritualism. Those who actively pursue these
interests however, may tend to keep their knowledge to themselves
unless others factors in their personalities support a more extroverted
demonstration or use of occult or arcane subjects. Another potential
under Scorpio's influence on the twelfth house is the desire to keep
hidden knowledge of their assets and resources. Others may know or
at least be able to estimate something of the obvious income or assets
of these individuals, but they enjoy having all kinds of material
and nonmaterial resources of which no one else is aware.
